This is one of illustrations to the story I wrote. The publishers wanted some sketches so I doodled few things.
It's historical crime story, should be published quite soon, I hope.

Edit: Played with it a bit.
Hopefuly, in few weeks time, I'll be able to use shades in a proper way, and I'll be fantasticaly ashamed that I posted this up. As for now - my first attempt, to do something like this :)

I love how you did this in black and white colours. It really adds the whole "mysterious" effect.

Piszę w bardzo bardzo różnych klimatach, to opowiadanie było akurat trochę pod kontekst historyczny, więc wybrałem XVIII wiek. Opublikowali to w miesięczniku historycznym razem z ilustracjami. Co prawda z błędami, ale nie miałem na to wpływu bo siedziałem we Włoszech. Niemniej - i tak miło.

A to całkiem ciekawe, że ilustracje chcieli ;)
Ja osobiście nie przepadam za za wiekami po-średniowiecznymi w Europie Zachodniej i gdzie indziej z resztą też (co innego w Polsce ;)), więc raczej nigdy się nie dotknę.
Gratuluję swoją drogą, można to gdzieś przeczytać? :D

Chcieli, zrobiłem.
No to co do faworyzowania historycznego mamy spory rozdźwięk, bo ja mam właśnie czas fascynacji XVII wiekiem ogólnie i to nie tylko w Polsce i nie tylko w ujęciu naszego świata.
Przeczytać.. Hm, chyba w sieci już nie bardzo. Zostały jeszcze tylko wersje wydrukowane gdzieś na spodach półek.
